So Now That I've Finished My Book, What Do I Do?

Decisions, decisions. Once you've finished that final edit, you've got a lot of decisions to make. We're here to help.

  • Decide whether to publish traditionally, or self-publish. There are good reasons for both!
  • Decide whether to publish digitally, in print, or both. It really depends on your audience and what you're trying to accomplish with your book.
  • Choose your service(s) - many of which provide their own tools! And take care of a lot of decision-making for you.
  • Choose your distributor(s). You don't have to use just one!
  • Decide whether you want your own ISBNs for your books. Amazon doesn't require ISBNs, but the rest of the book industry relies on them.
  • Decide about marketing tools, such as QR codes, widgets, apps.

The field is wide-open, and it can be a little intimidating. But we have a lot of guidance for each step in the process.
